Job Description:

Starpoint Solutions' Chicago office is growing and we're looking to add a full desk Recruiter to our team. 

The right candidate for this role will have 1-2+ years of successful agency recruiting experience and a desire to run a full desk (prior experience running a full desk a plus).

As a Recruiter within Starpoint, you'll have the opportunity to recruit for both contract and full time positions within any of our practices - IT, Marketing & Creative, Finance & Accounting or Healthcare IT. On the sales side, you'll have the opportunity to sell our staffing services, as well as our project-based solutions (Custom Software Application Development, ERP Solutions, Salesforce or Predictive Data Analytics).

Responsibilities:

- Searching for qualified candidates using various Internet sources, as well as networking and referral techniques 
- Screening and presenting viable candidates to our clients, based on detailed job descriptions
- Assisting in checking employment references
- Arranging for background checks if necessary
- Scheduling interviews
- Briefing and debriefing candidates before and after interviews
- Managing the offer process including helping to follow-up with candidates and extending offers
- Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation on all conversations with candidates
- Building a database of candidates with whom you have a relationship with
- Understanding technology and the marketplace
- Prospecting for job openings
- Networking with candidates and hiring managers
- Building a book of business

Job Requirements:

 

Requirements: 

- Bachelor's degree preferred

- 1-5  years of recruiting experience in an agency setting

- Experience recruiting in one of the following industries: IT, Marketing / Advertising / Creative or Finance & Accounting

- Experience running a full desk preferred, but will consider candidates with recruiting experience who desire to run a full desk

- Strong cold calling and networking skills

- Excellent presentation skills and professional image

- Motivated, dedication to succeed
